Do we need our own LoRaWAN network?
No. Thanks to LoRaWAN roaming you start without your own gateways; if needed, we add dedicated indoor or outdoor gateways to your site. Existing networks and sensors can be integrated.
Is deployment on private grounds GDPR-compliant?
Yes. The sensors measure conditions — fill levels, moisture, water levels, occupancy, anonymous frequencies — no personal data and no camera images. All data is processed in Germany.
What does it cost to get started?
A single app license starts at €249 per month; complete starter setups including sensors can be priced transparently in the cost estimator. You scale at any time — from a pilot to the whole site.
Which sensors work outdoors?
More than 20 ready-to-deploy types: fill level, soil moisture, water level, CO₂, noise, parking occupancy, people counting, weather and more — battery-powered with multi-year lifetimes, transmitting via LoRaWAN, NB-IoT or LTE.
Can urbanOS connect to our existing systems?
Yes. Open interfaces, GeoJSON/GPX export and APIs connect urbanOS to your specialist systems — from facility management to operations control. There is no vendor lock-in.
